Inspired by two strong symbols of Portuguese popular culture, The Rooster of Barcelos and the Portuguese tiles, I created this new mural for the amazing people from Quinta do Mocho. The rooster announces the sunrise symbolizing the end of the darkness and that's a better day is about to come. It's also related to courage and wisdom.
Ah! And according do the Chinese this is the year of the Rooster :)
